The Galt FC Premier 00B U12 boys recently finished 2nd place to Davis Legacy in fall league play. The boys play in the "Premier" division which is the highest level in NorCal. The boys went undefeated the 2nd half of the season, and only losing 2 games in the 10 played.  Kevin Ginni



The Galt FC Heat completed a great fall session with only 2 losses against a 2 quality teams. This team has a number of players who are currently members of the NIKE team and are trying out for involvement in the US National team identification program. The girls are gearing up for a great season in 2013, and developing their skills with the help of their Coach Daniel Moreno.

The team is looking towards College Recruitment in 2013 as well and will be attending College ID camps, and some top showcases in the US.

Galt FC Premier 00B U12 Boys had great success in Las Vegas at the International Mayors Cup. The Boys were placed in the top division which is considered the "Super Group".Top teams from across the U.S. as well as numerous teams from other Countries made the long trek to Las Vegas. The boys tied a tough Las Vegas Premier team 1-1. Then the boys beat Utah Sparta who is ranked number 1 in the state of Utah 4-0 to reach the semi finals. They lost a "Battle" to Arizona Premier 3-2 in a very intense game that went back and forth. A top 4 finish against that level of competition made the trip well worth it. Kevin Ginni

The Galt FC Premier 00B JETS made the long journey down to San Diego to represent Northern California in a National Showcase tournament, the Albion Cup. The boys were the only team from Nor Cal at their age group.

The tournament started Saturday with Galt playing Tustin FC Strikers from Los Angeles, and the boys battled very hard, earning a 2-0 win. Getting the first win out of the way, the team settled into their game and were focused on winning the Cup. The next game was against Encinitas FC Express from Southern California, and it resulted in a dominating 6-0 win for Galt.



This past weekend our Galt FC Premier 00B JETS soccer team played in the Stanford Summer Classic Division 1 soccer tournament in Palo Alto. The boys were matched up against the host team Stanford Catatumba First game of the tourney. That game proved to be a good start to the weekend for Galt winning 8-0. The next game had a lot more riding on it. Galt had to play the Orchard Valley Spartans which Galt played this last season in the State Cup Championship game. Galt had won that State Cup game in double overtime for the Championship.



The Galt FC Premier 00B JETS spent 3 days in Danville, Ca wrapping up another Championship this last weekend.
The boys had to make the trip to Danville on friday after school for the first game of the tourney on Friday night. They played the Ethos Saints FC Blue 01 from Eldorado Hills earning an impressive 5-0 win. The Jets then faced De Anza Force from Cupertino, the number 17 team in NorCal. That was a tough game as expected, Galt met the challenge and came out on top 2-0.



This weekends games were much more challenging due to the new workload that these amazing student athletes have. Their Monday started with HS Training Sessions, High School games and hours and hours of homework! The HS program averages 2 games per week, 3-4 training sessions, and requires academic excellence which means the players are expected to maintain a High GPA to continue to have the privelage to represent their schools and communities.
The UNITED 98 U14 Boys team has 6 players who are playing HS Soccer for their communities, while competing with the top teams in Club Soccer in Northern California. (Chance McCreery-Liberty Ranch HS, Jazz Sing - Pleasant Grove HS, Phoenix Her -EG Thundering Herd, Samuel Curran - EG Thundering Herd, Abraham Jimenez - EG Franklin Wildcats, Mateo Gomez - Bradshaw Christian Pride.)
